Barcelona will once again be the scene of a great mountain bike show. It is the urban descent event Down Urban Barcelona, which will run from the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium to the steps of the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. Runners will be able to descend one of the few urban circuits in the world with great jumps and overtake catwalks at full speed, giving an exciting spectacle for spectators. Urban downhill is one of the most exciting mountain bike disciplines, as it requires riders a lot of power and technique to descend as fast as possible along the route that runs through a timed circuit. The competition is part of Cycling Week Barcelona.
