The Eliminator is a newly created Cross Country discipline, divided into four-way battles that are fought over a short and intense course, with urban and artificial obstacles. The best mountain bikers will compete in a day full of adrenaline, strength and technique in the incomparable surroundings of the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. Each race will be a knockout in itself. The two fastest people will advance in the competition, while the other two will be eliminated. Finally, the grand final in four will decide who is crowned on a world scale. The competition, which will be held in both men's and women's categories, is part of Cycling Week Barcelona, where Down Urban Barcelona will also be held.
