In many parts of the world, photography is no longer built from the individual genius, but from shared collectives, communities and processes. These projects break with the colonial gaze and with classic photojournalism: it is no longer someone who arrives, but someone who is part.

Current groups and scenes: African Photojournalism Database (APJD), Everyday Projects (Everyday Africa, Everyday Iran, etc.), Ruang MES 56 (Indonesia), Blank Paper Escuela (Spain), Women Photograph (global network to make women photographers visible)
