Again an exclusive assignment for the festival. In December 1955, a jazz legend landed in Barcelona: Louis Armstrong, Satchmo. To celebrate the 70+ years of that historic milestone of jazz at the Barcelona pre-festival, the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra, directed by Dani Alonso, pays tribute to the trumpeter from New Orleans with a very special guest, also the son of the birthplace of jazz: Leroy Jones.
