After the remarkable success of his tour of France, French pianist and composer Thomas Valverde is now presenting his new album, “Polka”, throughout Europe, with performances in Berlin, Stockholm, London and Barcelona.

As virtuous as it is poetic, “Polka” is a tribute to the purity of solo piano. With a deliberately minimalist and refined production, the album allows every emotion to emerge directly from the keyboard — both in the notes and in the silences that separate them.

Trained at the prestigious National Conservatory of Music in Paris, and driven by an unquestionable desire to chart his own artistic path, Thomas Valverde reveals himself with an unusual sincerity and a singular voice in today's piano scene.
