Nature itinerary “Discovering the old Botanical Garden of Barcelona”

Saturday Apr 18, 2026 · Centre Cultural La Casa Elizalde

The old botanical garden of Barcelona is one of the most hidden and unknown places in the city. It occupies about 4 hectares of an old quarry, of which only 2 can be visited. Despite this discretion, it hides surprising languages such as some of the tallest and rarest trees in the city, there is a specimen of Pterocaria, and fossils from 10,000 years ago have also been found there.

NOT Accessible for people with reduced mobility. We recommend communicating any functional diversity prior to the completion of the itinerary, in order to make the itinerary as accessible as possible to everyone.

Guide: Mireia Teixidó

A good physical form is recommended for nature itineraries. It is necessary to wear comfortable shoes and clothing and carry a bottle of water.
